A cosy café hidden within a traditional machiya townhouse, doubling as a recycle book library where you can nourish both body and mind.

Meals center on local ingredients here, from the vegetables down to the soy sauce. Lunch plates consisting of a colorful array of small dishes are available weekdays (with reservation via DM to @machiyabunko, and on Saturdays an option of either roast pork (from the butcher just down the street) on rice, or homemade soba with vegetable tempura are offered.

For a light bite, homemade cakes and drinks are also available, made from the owner’s homemade jams that can be brought home as a cute souvenir!
