(English) Takeout & Delivery @ Komatsu: M’line and Sansuiyu
[:en]Next in our takeaway/delivery line-up is
M’line Market & Sansuiyu (山水悠)
Sister establishments located right across one another, both well-established local haunts!
M’line Market is a bar with an extensive menu of creative fusion dishes and bites that pair perfectly with drinks.
Think cheese and meat platters, paninis, and a whole range of cheesy pastas and pizzas such as Camembert cream pasta and Gorgonzola pizza!
On the other hand, Sansuiyu (山水悠) is an izakaya housed in a traditional machiya, townhouses dating as far back as the Edo period (see our previous post on Machiya Bunko, another machiya eatery serving takeout). Complimenting the charming rustic decor are its homely traditional dishes. Affordable teishoku set lunches are served in the day, and at night, locals gather to savour obanzai (traditional Kyoto-style dishes), grilled local fish, and other izakaya dishes alongside a wide range of sake, including some of the best local brews.
Whether you’re already one of their many regulars, or have been curious, you can still enjoy the new takeaway options of both eateries!

Hours: Lunch from 10.30AM~2PM (or while stocks last)
Closed Sundays

Bento (with a choice of mixed-grain 雑穀ご飯 or white rice 白ご飯):
*Mains rotate daily, e.g mackerel, salmon, croquette, fried chicken, ginger pork, sea bass, hamburg
*Composition of bento subject to change, but in general these three prices and their corresponding portions will be offered
Ala-carte dishes:
Starting from 250 yen
Dashi tamagoyaki, Napolitan pasta, shio yakisoba, grilled fish, omurice etc. (varies daily)
Ordering and Payment Method:
Bento are sold on site, but reservations are recommended if you are ordering for a group (they run out fast!).
